Eyelid Correction

Eyelid correction surgery, or blepharoplasty, targets the upper and/or lower eyelids to remove excess skin, fat, and muscle. This procedure can brighten your eyes, reduce puffiness, and help you look more alert and youthful. It’s ideal for those who have droopy eyelids or bags under the eyes that make them appear tired.

Procedure Details: Blepharoplasty involves making incisions along the natural creases of the eyelids (upper or lower) to remove or reposition excess skin, fat, and muscle. For the lower eyelids, an incision may be made just below the lash line or inside the lower lid. The goal is to reduce puffiness, sagging, and wrinkles around the eyes for a more refreshed look.

Post-Operative Care: Post-surgery, you’ll experience some swelling and bruising around the eyes. Cold compresses and ointments can help with healing, and it’s important to avoid strenuous activities for at least a week.

Special Recommendations: Protect your eyes from sun and wind using sunglasses, and follow your surgeon’s advice on using eye drops and ointments to ensure proper healing.
