Mastopexy (Breast Lift)

A breast lift, or mastopexy, raises and reshapes sagging breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue. This procedure can also reposition the nipple and areola for a more youthful breast appearance. It’s an excellent option for women whose breasts have lost their shape and firmness due to aging, pregnancy, or weight fluctuations.

Procedure Details: A breast lift, or mastopexy, involves making incisions around the areola and possibly down to the breast crease. Excess skin is removed, and the breast tissue is reshaped to create a more lifted and youthful appearance. The nipple and areola may also be repositioned to a higher, more aesthetically pleasing position.

Post-Operative Care: You’ll need to wear a supportive bra after surgery and avoid strenuous activities for several weeks. Swelling, bruising, and discomfort are common and should subside gradually. Follow all care instructions from your surgeon to ensure proper healing.

Special Recommendations: Avoid smoking and alcohol, as these can impede the healing process. Regularly apply surgeon-approved creams to the incisions to reduce scarring as healing progresses.
